Living Sustainably IV – Birding 101 March 28, 2026

Back by popular demand, the Cochrane Environmental Action Committee (CEAC) is excited to again present Birding 101. Come and join Kirsten Pearson (birder extraordinaire),from the annual Cochrane Bird Count, to learn all about:

The presentation will cover the ecological importance of birds (pollination, mutualism, food webs, etc.) Kirsten will show how to cultivate bird-friendly gardens and demonstrate how we can enhance the natural spaces in and around Cochrane to keep them attractive for a wide range of bird species.

The FREE event will be held on Saturday, March 28 from 10 am – 11:30 am at the Frank Wills Memorial Hall, 405-1 St E, Cochrane AB.
