About The Cochrane Farmers' Market

connecting shoppers and growers/producers since 1998

The Cochrane Environmental Action Committee (CEAC) sponsors and operates the Cochrane Farmers’ Market. The market is run entirely by CEAC volunteers; proceeds from the market are used to support CEAC in its efforts to make Cochrane a more environmentally aware and active community.

The outdoor ‘Market at the Ranche’ is the original market, established in 1998. The summer market is now the ‘Market by the Bow’, located at the SLS Centre. The Cochrane Farmers’ Market celebrated 25 years of operation in 2023.

The Cochrane Farmers’ Market currently hosts two indoor markets – the Spring Markets and the Cochrane Christmas Farmers’ Market. Customers can enjoy shopping at the market throughout the year!

The Cochrane Farmers’ Market is located outdoors at the SLS Centre. The re-branded ‘Market by the Bow’ now enjoys a spacious location beside the Bow River in Cochrane.

The Cochrane Street Market takes place in the heart of Historic Downtown Cochrane. These monthly markets have been paused since 2020.
