Mayor’s Environmental Expo
In 2020, CEAC was proud to provide support to Cochrane students in their efforts to develop a video to promote the Ghost Watershed Alliance Society.
Every year, The City of Calgary’s Mayor’s Environmental Expo is hosted year by Naheed Nenshi at the Municipal Complex. In the past, many teachers and students went down to participate in the interactive exhibits. Due to Covid-19, it had to be a virtual event this year.
As part of this Expo, the Ghost Watershed Alliance Society produced a film entitled, Source Water Stories. The film connects Calgary and area’s safe drinking water to its source watersheds by demonstrating watershed models and taking students on a virtual tour of the Ghost Watershed. The target audience is Grade 7-9.
